WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN GANAPATI SPECIAL TRAINS

Western Railway has decided to run special reserved trains on Konkan Route to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival. The details are given here under:

A] Train Nos. 09007 / 09008 Bandra Terminus – Madgaon - Bandra Terminus [Bi – Weekly] AC Special Train Train No.09007 Bandra Terminus – Madgaon [Bi – Weekly] AC Special Train will leave Bandra Terminus at 10.10 hrs on Mondays & Wednesdays from 14.09.2015 to 23.09.2015 and will reach Madgaon at 03.30 hrs, on the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No.09008 Madgaon – Bandra Terminus [Bi – Weekly] AC Special Train will leave Madgaon at 05.30 hrs on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 15.09.2015 to 24.09.2015 and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 23.25 hrs on the same day. HALTS: Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Thivim and Karmali. COMPOSITION: The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and AC chair car coaches.

B] Train Nos. 09009 / 09010 Bandra Terminus – Madgaon - Bandra Terminus [Tri – Weekly] Special Train Train No.09009 Bandra Terminus – Madgaon [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Bandra Terminus at 00.15 hrs on Saturdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12.09.2015 to 26.09.2015 and will reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs, on the same day. Similarly, in return direction Train No.09010 Madgaon – Bandra Terminus [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Madgaon at 21.00 hrs on Saturdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12.09.2015 to 26.09.2015 and will arrive at Bandra Terminus at 13.20 hrs, the next day. HALTS: Andheri, Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali. C] Train Nos. 09416 / 09415 Ahmedabad – Madgaon - Ahmedabad (Tri – Weekly) Special Train via Vasai Road Train No.09416 Ahmedabad – Madgaon [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Ahmedabad at 16.00 hrs on Saturdays, Sundays & Thursdays from 12.09.2015 to 27.09.2015 and will reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs, on the next day. Similarly, in the return direction Train No.09415 Madgaon – Ahmedabad [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Madgaon at 21.00 hrs on Sundays, Mondays & Fridays from 13.09.2015 to 28.09.2015 and will arrive at Ahmedabad at 20.30 hrs, the next day. HALTS: Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali. The booking for train no. 09007, 09009 & 09416 will be opened from 02.08.2015 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.

Summer Special Train Indore-Kochuvelli via Vasai Road

Western Railway has decided to run one weekly “Superfast” summer special train between Indore and Kochuvelli (via Vasai Road).

Indore-Kochuvelli special train will leave Indore at 21.05 hrs on every Tuesday and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Wednesday) at 11.20 hrs and will reach Kochuvelli at 19.10 hrs on the third day (Thursday). This train will run from 09/06/2015 to 23/06/2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09309 Kochuvelli-Indore special train will leave Kochuvelli at 11.00 hrs on every Friday and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Saturday) at 16.30 hrs and will reach Indore at 07.25 hrs on the third day (Sunday). This train will run from 12/06/2015 to 26/06/2015.

The special trains will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangalore Jn. Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn., Allepey, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both the directions.

The booking of Train No.09310 Indore- Kochuvelli weekly Superfast special train will open on 31st May, 2015.

TATKAL SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN MUMBAI LTT AND MADGAON

Central Railway will run Tatkal special trains between Mumbai LTT and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season. The details are given below:

special train will leave Mumbai LTT at 00.45 hrs on 23.05.2015 & 30.05.2015 (2 trips) and reach Madgaon at 11.30 hrs the same day.

Keeping in mind the rush during the forthcoming summer holiday season, Western Railway has decided to run one weekly summer special train between Indore and Kochuvelli (via Vasai Road).

Indore–Kochuvelli (Weekly) “Superfast” special train will leave Indore at 21.05 hrs on every Tuesday and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Wednesday) at 11.20 hrs and will reach Kochuvelli at 19.10 hrs on the third day (Thursday).

This train will run from 14th April, 2015 to 2nd June, 2015.


Similarly, - Kochuvelli - Indore (Weekly) “Superfast” special train will leave Kochuvelli at 11.00 hrs on every Friday and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Saturday) at 15.10 hrs and will reach Indore at 05.15 hrs on the third day (Sunday).

This train will run from 17th April, 2015 to 5th June, 2015.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS FOR TIRUNELVELI AND ERNAKULAM VIA MADGAON

Central Railway will run 42 Special Trains between Mumbai CST and Tirunelveli / Ernakulam to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Summer Holidays. The details are as under:

A] MUMBAI CST - TIRUNELVELI SPECIAL (20 SERVICES)

Train No. 02057 will leave Mumbai CST at 00.25 hrs on every Wednesday from 1.4.2015 to 3.6.2015 and arrive Tirunelveli at 11.00 hrs the next day.

In return direction, Train No. 02058 will leave Tirunelveli at 13.30 hrs on every Thursday from 2.4.2015 to 4.6.2015 and arrive Mumbai CST at 0200 hrs on the third day.

B] MUMBAI CST - ERNAKULAM SPECIAL (22 SERVICES)

Train No. 02065 will leave Mumbai CST at 00.25 hrs on every Sunday from 29.3.2015 to 7.6.2015 and arrive Ernakulam at 02.15 hrs the next day.
