Palasdhari a charming village, famous for its scenic surroundings and waterfalls, is located 3 kilometers from Karjat Railway Station. The village peak of its beauty in the monsoons attracting a large number of crowds from nearby cities. The village name is derived from "Palas" tree and "Dhari" means Mountain Pass.

The waterfall here known as Palasdhari Waterfall, is an amazing example of nature's beauty. It is not much harder to climb for a basic trekker, but in the rainy season the path becomes difficult to access due to heavy waves of water.

The other attractions of Palasdhari are the "Math of Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj”. The Math is open for the full day (followers only) on Thursdays, Ekadashi, Aashadhi Ekadashi; otherwise it opens after 4 PM.

How to reach Palasdhari
Palasdhari is the next stop from Karjat. You need to take a Khopoli train to get down at Palasdhari.
