| Tansa Lake |
The Mumbaites are familiar with the Tansa lake since in the beginning they were practically wholly dependent on this lake for their daily water need. This lake is formed across the river Tansa and has a storage facility of 3 million gallons of water. The lake culminated in 1926. In the surrounding area of about 304 square kilometers, Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary is developed. The scenery around the lake is very fascinating.
