Saptashrungi is the highest peak, about 1380 meters from sea level, among Ajanta-Satmal ranges of Sahyadri Mountain, north of Nashik City. Atop the hill lies the temple of Goddess Saptashrungi. It is also known as the Goddess of Vani. Motorable road is there from Nashik to Dindori or to Vani via Pimpalgaon and then a rocky pathway leads from Vani to the temple.
