Gondavale Budruk, located on the Satara Pandharpur Road, is famous for the Mausoleum of Shree Gondavalekar Maharaj. Shree Gondavalekar Maharaj was a Hindu Saint, spread Ram Bhakti (worship of Lord Rama) and the knowledge of spiritualism. Shree Gondavalekar Maharaj established numerous temples of Lord Rama all over India. He has a large number of followers from all over Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and some part of Karnataka. Maharaj taught a Mantra to people “Shree Ram Jay Ram Jay Jay Ram”. The large number of devotees comes to Gondavale to pray before his mausoleum almost throughout the year.
