Taraporevala Aquarium

The Taraporewala aquarium, situated on the Marine Drive, is a very spectacular place for all the age groups. The Taraporevala Aquarium houses various types of marine and freshwater fish including Sharks, Coral Fish, Rays, Turtles, Starfish, Moray eels, Sea Turtles are placed here for exhibition.

The aquarium was constructed at a cost of Rs. Eight Lakh and were opened for the public in 1951. It was inaugurated by the then President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad.
